QOS: Shaping and Policing

                   Hi there,   I have configured the following QOS mainly for the voice traffic, we also have file server in remote site which copy large mount files to the datacenter,  we would like to use the policing the trafic on the router to resitrcit the traffic to 500kbps, let's say, we have difined the backup traffice by name acl BACKUP-TRAFFIC and  how to add this requirement in exsiting configuration. thanks Roy

Create a new class-map to match your ACL.  I would put that class under your QOS-Parent-PM policy-map and set the policing there.

Hi Brian,    I have tested and created an class under  policy-map VOICE-OUTBOUND-PM, it works fine.
