Hello, i have a question about the following (this is 1 of 3 pri's on a router) :
controller T1 0/2/0
cablelength long 0db
pri-group timeslots 1-4,24 service mgcp
The pri is configured as "pri-group timeslots 1-4,24 service mgcp"
What does 1-4 mean ? it is only configured to use 4 channels, plus 24 for D channel? correct?
I believe it should be an entire PRI. i have a feeling there arent enough resources on the router
is there a way to check this ?

That's correct, that's the number of DS0s you're using, and we do not support you doing that, partial PRIs are only supported with H323, not with MGCP.
Use the sh tech and sh voice dsp to see DSP resource allocation

so this is in fact a partial pri.. i think it’s a full pri from the provider. we just don’t have enough dsp’s for it ?

You've more than enough DSP resources to configure that full PRI, you got a 32 and a 128 PVDM3

hmm okay, thanks so much Jaime, this is an existing config, so i am not sure why it was configured this way.
How should I go about making the change from 1-4 to 1-24 ?
Remove the existing config or is it possible to change the pri-group timeslots from 1-4 to 1-24?

You need to remove the current config as it's currently active, once you remove it, reconfigure it.
You can search CCO for MGCP config and you'll get plenty of examples on how it should look like.
