Hi all,

At the time there are round about 400 devices on the servers i would like to add another 400 devices. Additional t that i would like to upgrade to version 8.6 for security features. My question is are the appliances resistand for the new version and this amount of devices?

No, you can't have that many endpoints

Above doc is available at the CUCM FAQ located here, which is at the top of the main page:

Hello Jaime,
many thanks for your quick answer. The servers are in a position to support up to 500 devices. The upgrade to version 8.6 is possible but i need to put 4GB RAM and 146 GB disk drive in it and remain with the same amount of devices.
What you suggest to do in my case? I would like to upgrade to 8.6 and have an amount of devices for about 1000 devices.. or maybe less than 1000..
many thanks in advance for any answer

Either you upgrade to a higher MCS platform or you might want to consider a CUCM BE 6K
