"number not configured" abbrdial

Numbers are configured as speed dials.

Using ExtMobility on 7942.

Login user to alternat phone (7965 or 7940) will allow AbbrDial.

Is there some setting on a phone that would not allow AbbrDial? multiple users with same udp setup on 7942's work fine. Having a problem with the latest additions.

Speed Dials and Abbreviated Dials are set on a per-device basis. Extension Mobility is provided through a Device Profile [device]. The user would need to configure the abbreviated dials on their device profile as well as the native phone. They can do this by selecting the appropriate device through /ccmuser.

right. and the user logged into a 7965 or 7940 worked just fine... it's only when they login to a 7942 that their AbbrDial doesn't work. same profile, different phone.

UPDATE***

did some further testing and it is only on some users and only in a specific device pool. Logging them into a phone in another device pool (even using the same network port at their desk) it works fine.
