Rebuild Unity Conection 7.x

Hi,

My  customer has got a unity connection server 7.0.1.11000-2 . The problem  is that we have to rebuild it because of many errors and according to the TAC,  the database is corrupted.  There is 250 users mailbox with greetings,  schedules, call handler. How can i do to keep these information  if i  have to rebuild the server.  Moreover,  we cannot actually access to the  unity connection web page because Tomcat service don't want to restart.  So it is difficult for us to  make a backup.

If someone can give me some information,  it will be helpful.

Hi,

high level overview on rebuild process

1. DRS backup

2. Fresh install the same version ( including any ES ) with same hostname, ip addr

3.  DRS restore

4. upgrade to higher version

Since tomcat is down, you can initiate DRS backup from CLI

utils disaster_recovery show_registration

utils disaster_recovery backup network
