recovery username and password in CUC 7

Hi everybody!

My question is, a I have a mockup in vmware with CUCM 7 and CUC 7, the problem is that I have forgotten my Unity Connection password, and is the same in the web administration and in vmware´s, so, anybody knows any trick to get out user name and password again??

I tryed that before but I have a problem with step 5:

Step 5 Insert a valid CD or DVD into the disk drive.

I tryed with several CDs and nothing....... any idea what is the problem here?

Hi,

You run the system in vmware, correct ?

Maybe a topic with the drive association in VMware?

Unfortunately I do not have another idea...

That´s correct, i run system in vmware.

I checked drive association and CDs and nothing....

In cisco web page is not correctly explained....

Step 1 Log in to the system with the following username and password:

•Username: pwrecovery

•Password: pwreset

The Welcome to platform password reset window displays.

Step 2 Press any key to continue.

Step 3 If you have a CD or DVD in the disk drive, remove it now.

Step 4 Press any key to continue.

The system tests to ensure that you have removed the CD or DVD from the disk drive.

Step 5 Insert a valid CD or DVD into the disk drive.  <----  This must be the recovery DVD from CUC

After it follow step to change password.
