Redundant call agent

I tried to configure redundant call agent with below configuration on the gateway (2951) but it fails:

ccm-manager redundant-host 192.168.50.11                           ---------------------------- Publisher

call-agent 192.168.50.12 2427 service-type mgcp version 0.1   ------------------------------Subscriber

Primery is Subscriber

I am trying to configure the Subscriber as the primery call agent and the Publisher as secondry. But the things work while the call agent is the Subscriber (primery), however when the subscriber goes down the Publisher doesn't take over (with above configuration in place).

You mean that when the sub is down then the calls not working right?

From the ccm-manager file it looks that is registered ok with the pub

Not working incoming outgoings calls?

Any calls through the gateway is not working (outside calls), only internal call is working.

In the CUCM is registered the MGCP GW right?

Try no mgcp and mgcp in voice gateway

Debug mgcp packets in VG

Can you send the mgcp config in VG?

Is the PUB in the Call manager group fo
the device pool that the gateway is using ?

E.g.

CM-GROUP MYGROUP = SUB & PUB

Device Pool MGCP-GW
CM GROUP  --- MYGROUP

Yes both Pub and Sub are on the call manager group and Device pool.

After the registration in CUCM BIND here the voice interface for media and call control

mgcp bind control source-interface FastEthernet0/1.102

mgcp bind media source-interface FastEthernet0/1.102

After all the above . no mgcp and mgcp

From the output of your show ccm-manager it lookes like the pub is the one that is used as the call agent, not the sub.
