Register Cisco 7821 to voip.ms using SIP

Hello everyone,

I am trying to register my 7821 phone to voip.ms. I haven't had any success so far in doing this or even registering it to a local Asterisk server. Attached below is my SEP XML file. The phone seems to be grabbing files from the TFTP server, including the SEP file, so this seems to just be a configuration problem. The file I uploaded has .txt extension, but this is just so the website will allow me to upload it, and the real one is .cnf.xml.

So far, I have tried following the info in this thread as well as this one, with no luck. Any help would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Emanuel

You need the SEPmacaddress.cnf.xml and the dial plan. That is mandatory.
So why is the phone not downloading those files?
Did you actually factory-defaulted the phone or not?

No, as I said, the phone is indeed downloading those files. It is just not
doing working. It gives no status messages indicating an error in the
config, and still does not register.

Disable NAT.
Disable ALG.

Is the phone username/password correct?

Do you mean to disable nat and alg in the phone settings, router, or pbx?

Yes the username and password are correct.

Everywhere.

I don't see how I can disable NAT in my router and still have a functional network though. I also can't find NAT or ALG settings in the phone configuration. However I did disable both in the PBX with no luck.
