Hello community,
I have a question regarding SIP endpoints: Is it possible to register a 2-line SIP phone with a CallManager and an Asterisk PBX simultaneously? The idea is to register one line with the CallManager, and the other with the Asterisk-PBX.
This is a requirement from a Contact Center provider we are interested in, and we are not sure if this is possible.
By the way, we are planning to use Cisco 6921 and 7821 phones.

Thank you George.
You are right, it is not posible to do this with CUCM and Cisco phones, I also have confirmation from TAC and the Contact Center provider that required this from us.
By the way, there are 3rd party phones that do support multiple register, like the Innovaphone IP230.

I don't think this is possible.
The phone checks for the TFTP Server to register and this is unique fqdn or IP Address, with option of secondary server, on failover mode.
