registration rejected on EVM-HD-8FXS/DID

Hii All,

I'm working on some issue that our mgcp gateway (3925) registration.

All port show registered except EVM-HD-8FXS/DID on the module 2.

Any idea about this?

what i'm doing is.

Delete the module and re add the module.

Change the module from slot 1 to slot 2.

Unplug the module and plug the module.

use no mgcp and restart tftp service and then mgcp again.

manually put

dial-peer voice 999210 pots
service mgcpapp
port 2/0/0

but no of that is working.

You should use SCCP, not MGCP for FXS ports.

I have 3 E1 PRI port on that router too that already configure mgcp and working well.

And also fxo port configured and working well too.

Can we configure MGCP and SCCP in the same router ?

Make sure the hostname matches.

But SCCP is superior, being specifically designed for phones.

I've already read your answer.

What I mean is can we configure SCCP and also MGCP on the same router?

Because on that router we've already configured as MGCP with 3 E1 and 11 Fxo port and working well already

Yes you can. You just have change the dial-peers for the FXO/FXS ports
