Registring Cisco Phone

I am fresh on Voice, deployed CME on 2851 Router. I am unable to register cisco phones, Other SIP phones where succcessfully registered. DHCP is running on Windows 2008 Server.

Does WIN DHCP server has option ip 150 configured? and Do you have max-ephone and max-dn configured under telephony-services mode?

Yes I got Option 150 configured and max-ephone and max-dn configured. Do we need to have any sort config file on the CME router for each phone model.

When you do a 'create cnf-files' under telephony service after giving all the ephone-dn and ephone commands, the system should automatically generate the config files.

Run 'debug ephone register' on the CME and check whether the phone even tries to contact the CME for registration. If it does  not, you might want to look at the TFTP ip address on the phone. Check whether it points to the CME.

Hi

I plugged  ip phone 7941 and outgoing call not working. I am able to receive calls.

with SIP phones incoming & outgoing calls are working ( softphones and SIP Ip Phones )
