Removing the Leading 9

How difficult is it to remove the leading 9 from all outbound calls? What are the issues with doing this configuration?

You can do it very easily in CUCM. For all route patterns configure 9. followed by the exact pattern you need (For example 9.XXXXXXX) and use predot to remove the 9.

There wont be any issues as such. It depends on how the provider requires you to send the digits for outbound calls. Could you tell us what is the exact scenario and why you need to do this.
