My client lost the login credentials to the server storing the backups from the Disaster Recovery backup process. The password was a randomly created 8 character password and no one seems to know what it is.
So, they are planning to regenerate a new password for the box which means resetting the password on the CUCM and the UCX clusters.
My question is - will it be necessary to execute a service restart after the passwords have been changed?

Hi Jeff
No... definitely not. Just change your backup device credentials on the relevant page within DRS. This is a dynamic change.
