Retrieve CDR data from backup

Hi

I want to some old CDR data information from CUCM. I have old backups with CDR_CAR.tar file, but I am unable to open them. Is there a way to open those file and get the CDR dumps?

Try the DRS Backup Decrypter tool a shot, haven't done it personally but read it can be effective in previous threads.

If not you can build a CUCM node with same hostname/IP/security password etc as the original node and restore the backup there to retrieve the records.

Its unable to read my 9.1.2 XML file - error in the file, but it was able to read 8.6 XML file successfully. I am still trying, hopefully, it works.

Yes, it gives me error message corrupted. I guess its encrypted.
