RightFax v9
We have RightFax setup on CallManager as a H.323 Gateway. We can receive faxes and send faxes fine. However, to dial long distance we require codes.
The software based Brooktrout is sending the fax to the gateway with a null DN. So the gateway translates it to our main number and that number is required to use LD. According to RightFax support, there is no way to change it from sending a null DN. We tried adding pauses and an LD code to the number we were dialing, but each time it errored out with a phone line problem. We also attempted to use billing codes within RightFax, but had no luck.
Ultimately we need to fax long distance from RightFax. It doesn't matter if we are able to use a code. Even if the fax could be masked to a different DN that doesn't require a code, that would be fine.
Any suggestions?
