Route Group - automatic failover

Hi,

  I am trying to create automatic failover in case I face an issue with a gateway. I have added two gateways in my route group list and change the algorithm from circular to top down. When my PRI has issues, my calls do not rollover to the second gateway which makes sense since the gateway (h323) is still active.

  In order for me to accomplish this, I need to change the gateway's order.

  Is there any way to automate this process? If my first gateway does not respond in certain amount of time, use my second option.

By default CUCM will not try to send calls to a second H.323 gateway. You can chnage this behaviour by modifying Service Parameters ask explained by Aaron in his response to a previous question at the link below:
