Route Group Question

Hi,

Does it make a difference whether you have TrunkA and TrunkB both in the same RG COMPARED to each Trunk in it's own RG.

I am trying to find this out cuz I will have two SIP Trunks going from CUCM cluster to a Unity Connection Cluster.  Would it make a difference whether it's configured one way or another?

Thanks

Jaames

Hi Jaames

Not much difference in this scenario.

Within a route group you can set 'top down' or 'circular' so you can still control where calls go.

The reason you would use a route group typically is so that you can have RGA and RGB, and if RGB is used you can apply different digit manipulations to it. For CUC you won't need to do this.
