RouteListExhausted over H.225 Trunk (Gatekeeper Controlled) on CUCM v10.5

Hi,

We have a bunch of CUCM clusters (originally on v8.6) that communicate for internal calls with gatekeeper controlled trunks. On the core we have 2 gatekeepers on HA (Cisco 3925).

Now we´re upgrading our clusters to v10.5, and there are appearing alerts of RouteListExhausted, with different reasons:

- on one cluster :

RouteListName : RL-GKP, Reason=3, RouteGroups(RG-GKP)
AppID : Cisco CallManager
ClusterID : StandAloneCluster
NodeID : sub1mtporoc
 TimeStamp : Sun May 22 10:44:52 CLT 2016

- on another cluster:
RouteListName : RL-GKP, Reason=41, RouteGroups(RG-GKP)
AppID : Cisco CallManager
ClusterID : StandAloneCluster
NodeID : sub1ssmaule
 TimeStamp : Sun May 22 02:57:08 CLT 2016

So it seems that cucm servers v10.5 became unregister for some reason.

But this alert is not present on cucm v8.6 clusters (not yet upgraded, but soon they are gonna be on v10.5).

Also some users on cucm v8.6 are receiving some "High Traffic" advices when they call to users on cucm v10.5, this is a random situation, if you call the same user, the call is generally connected. This situation seems related to the alert, but It's not confirmed.

Maybe there is something needed to adjust on cucm v10.5 or on gatekeeper.

Any idea, please let me know.

TIA,

Andres Pasten

Are the 10.5 clusters showing up on GW "sh gatek endpoint"? Did you reset the GK-controlled trunks?

Hi Chris,

Yes, clusters 10.5 are present with their servers, for example this one has the alerts, but whole 3 servers are present.

GKP-AMN#show gatekeeper endpoints | inc Zona-SS-Metro-Ori

10.201.137.2    54666 10.201.137.2    47120 Zona-SS-Metro-Ori VOIP-GW

10.201.137.10   35157 10.201.137.10   53655 Zona-SS-Metro-Ori VOIP-GW

10.201.137.18   45352 10.201.137.18   52303 Zona-SS-Metro-Ori VOIP-GW

We have made reset on trunks, but the situation persists.

Do you recomend some debug? Please consider that these gatekeepers have considerable traffic.

TIA

Andres Pasten

Yes, I would look at "debug gatek main 10". Is inbound working to this CUCM cluster via the GK trunk?

Hi Chris, Thanks, I'll try on low traffic hour that debug. Yes inbound calls normally works. The only hint that we have is that random call that receive High Traffic.
