RoutePattern - Calling Party Transformations

Hi,

i have a silly problem with Calling Party Transformations on RP.

The problem is that neither a Calling Party Transform Mask nor Prefix Digits work at a RP. ( only Calling Line ID and Name Presentation, Calling Party Number Type and Plan were transfered correctly to the pstn )

If i did the same at RG or Gateway PRI everything work as expected.

Did i miss something?

Hi Sebastian,

The masks,prefix digits and calling types works like this.

1. If you configure at Route pattern level and have configured NOTHING at route list level, then Route Pattern's will take effect. The changes in the mask is reflected on display of IP Phone.

2. If you configure at route list level and have configured NOTHING at route pattern level then again obviously Route List will take effect but the changes are not reflected on IP Phone display.

3. Suppose your RP is 9.[2-9]XXXXXX.Yoy dialled 6265555 Now if you did a Predot for the Discard digits instruction field at the Route Pattern level and at the Route list level you did a prefix 1515. Your IP Phone will display the called number as 6265555 but the digits sent to the gateway will be 15156265555. So in effect the RP has become just a to0l to update the phone display and do a predot whereas your RL prefixed 1515.
