i have setup RTMT for SMTP Relay. The SMTP server is setup un the Callmanager OS, CDR Reporting and RTMT.
We receive alerts for thresholds breaches in the CDR reporting. On the RTMP i have setup the SMTP server and checked the alrt profile to contain the correct email addresses. i have tested authentication faulures to create alerts, which i see in RTMT, howevee the emails do not come through. RTMT and CRD use the same SMTP relay server?
Are there any traces or further testing to confirm where the SMTP is failing? Is there a service to check or restart?
I am hoping that the exchange guys will let me run wireshark to see if the alert is reaching the Exchange server.
