SCCP to SIP Calls

Hello Cisco Voice World

In my organisation all phones are running on SCCP.

I wish to pass calls from these to a 3rd party conferncing system via a SIP trunk. Will a MTP be required? Is that dependant on whether or not the 3rd party system support EO or DO?

With most 3rd party sip endpoints, you will need MTP for supplementary services especially since you are doign sccp to sip. Its safe to make provision for MTP
