Hello
Learning Call manager. I want to make sure I understand something I am troubleshooting
Caller can get calls to extension 206767 from inside the building- but when callers from outside call and dial 6 digit- they get can't transfer call. This user/extension is NOT in Unity Connection.
The extension needs a VM box created for it, correct?

Yes, if you do not use that option, CUC wil only transfer to numbers that are configured in some element within it.

but if we do not have this configured
Allow Transfers to Numbers Not Associated with Users or Call Handlers
