Send Message to all 7975s

Most all of our phones are IP 7975s.  Is there a way to send a message to appear on all of the displays of the 7975?  Looking to see if we could blast a message out to everyone to notify them if there is an IT outage or something like that.

If you mean with just CUCM there is no way to do that.

You need a 3rd party app like informacast to do that.

I think its also possible if you have unity

server integrated. We can do it by bringing the members under a PDL.

We can do this through a IDLE URL....however, a small process need to be followed...Pls check the below link.

I have done this for displaying a message on all IP Phones in my company....with just 1 sec of idle time.
