Setting Common name for Caller id

Hi All,

 

Need some suggestion on caller id. As our customer need to have the common display name for the caller id. Let me explain.

                  If there are 3 members group having individual phones and when they dial to the users the caller id should display only their group name and when the user checks his call history it should display the group's number only not the individual name or their number. 

Is this possible?

Hello Raj,

 

I would suggest using a shared-line implementation on the phones.

For example you may have on the first button the Shared-Line of the Group (if the phone type of device that you use support 2 lines) and have on the second button the personal line of each user. 

The users by selecting the line they will be able to choose by which line they will be calling and they will be always able to check the Call history of each line (either Shared or Personal).
