Setup remote vm access

Hello all,

Can someone point me in the right direction to configure our CUE Ver. 2.3 system to be able to have users dial an internal number to check voicemail? I am looking on the system and I don't see where I can set this up.

You need to mention phone system and version you are using.

also note, that CUE version is very very old, and should be updated.

My apologies and thanks for your response. The system is a Cisco 2811 (revision 53.50); and yes, unfortunately it is quite old - I am working to convince my management that an update is needed.

In the meantime, can you point me to resources that may allow me to work with the current system?

Please don't be offended, but from the way you posed the questions, is evident that you do not have any experience with Cisco IOS, CME, or CUE. Unfortunately these system are not user friendly at all, and require training, skills and experience to configure them with solid, professional manner. So, if you want sure and quick results, your best choice is to engage a reputable consultant or UC certified cisco partner. No offense taken; I have worked on telephone systems for over 15 years, ranging back to non voip systems as Lucent and Nortel, and have worked on Shoretel and Avaya systems, but as you say, my experience of CME, CUE and Cisco (beyond routers) is lacking. Thank you for the links.

Thank you for understanding. Phone experience helps a lot. Maybe you just need to fix a dial-peer on CME, maybe something more. If you search this forum, all common issues have been discussed many times.
