Simultanious use handset and headset

Hi,

Is there any combination of a 794x IP Phone and headset that allows the use of both the headset and handset in the same call?

The answer is: it depends on what is your definition of "use". Generally, Speakerphone (listening) works simultaneously on both, headset and handset (or speakerphone). However microphone works only on "active device" only. So, someone may have a conversation on the handset, and another person may listen everything on the handset, and vice versa. That's another way to do analog recording on Cisco phones (for example, if you plug PC headset adapter to the headset port, and plug it back to PC for a media recorder).

In most cases people want this capability for "training" purposes
