Single Region SIP Error 503

joshuaprom

Level 1

Hello all,

Currently I am experiencing an issue where calls from endpoints (skinny or SIP) in a particular region on CUCM are getting a 503 response when trying to seize a SIP trunk to a non-cisco SBC. Few housekeeping items below:

1.) Every other region tested so far on CM is functioning as hoped, codec negotiation between the two regions is set to use G.729

2.) In SDP message from my endpoint, G.729 is shown in available codecs for use, SBC is configured to negotiate G.711u/alaw and G.729

3.) Moving phones into other regions resolves issue, moving phones into region recreates issue on devices that were previously working. All partitions and CSS are configured correctly.

4.)Intended route would be as follows:

Phone dials 3365 > 3365 matches route pattern in CUCM that seizes SIP trunk to non-cisco SBC > SBC routes call to UM on office 365

5.) Not a master on SIP, but I believe to have done my due diligence here and am at a loss, case is open with TAC but they're taking exceptionally long time for first contact.

6.) I know this is involving non-cisco hardware, but since region settings appear to be affecting my outcomes should still be able to resolve. (moving this to CUBE very soon.)

Please provide "debug ccsip messages" for the bad and good call.

Compare your video configuration between the regions and locations (if different).

Can you use RTMT to connect to CUCM and generate Real Time Session Trace. Save all SIP messages for a particular none working call and share the snapshot for ladder diagram and SIP messages.
