monasir
Level 1
Level 1

Hi everyone,

We are in the middle of testing incoming callings numbers with (testnumbers) which we received from the ISP.

However we are not able to make successfull incoming calls.

I'm getting SIP/2.0 404 Not Found  when i do " debug ccsip message"

Its hitting the cube but its not reaching the final destination number

Please find below attached output.

I'm a little bit lost

p.s you can ignore the XXX, i have replaced the ip numbers and ISP info with XXX due to private reasons.

Hi,

CUBE receives call from ISP and send the invite to your CUCM. CUCM responds back with cause code 1 which is unallocated/unassigned number. YOu need to check whether the number sent in the invite is proper extension configured in CUCM and whether the digits received are correct and as required in CUCM.

Hi, from logs I can see the following messages exchange:

your cisco recevices a call from a Metaswitch:
Nov 20 09:18:55
Received:
INVITE sip:XXXXXXX@190.123.18.242:5060 SIP/2.0
Organization: Metaswitch Networks

your cisco sends a call other party (Cisco-CUCM12.0)
Nov 20 09:18:55
Sent voip.XXX.XXX:
INVITE sip:XXXXXXX@XX.XX.XX.XX SIP/2.0

your cisco receives the 404 from other (Cisco-CUCM12.0)
Nov 20 09:18:55:
Received:
SIP/2.0 404 Not Found
Reason: Q.850;cause=1

You must investigate inside the CUCM. Is the number omitted (INVITE sip:XXXXXXX) configured in the CUCM?

Regards.

Hi guys,

To make things clear...

Ive created a dial-peer like this which will match calls from outbound :

dial-peer voice 21 voip
 description Outbound to CUCM
 destination-pattern 1234567
 session protocol sipv2
 session transport udp
 session server-group 1
 voice-class codec 1
 voice-class sip bind control source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0/1
 voice-class sip bind media source-interface GigabitEthernet0/0/1
 dtmf-relay rtp-nte sip-notify sip-kpml
 fax rate 14400
 fax protocol t38 version 0 ls-redundancy 0 hs-redundancy 0 fallback pass-through g711alaw
 ip qos dscp cs3 signaling
 no vad

Ive created a translation pattern in cucm with 1234567 which contains a partition.

This partition is a member of a CSS which is also created , and which is also defined in the sip trunk of the " inbound calls"

Are you seeing the configured number (For ex. 1234567 ) sent in the Invite to CUCM ?

In the SIP trunk inbound call config, significant digits selected correctly ?
The number TP will be translated to in CUCM is a valid number ? you can check this by dialing the TP from any internal extension

Hi ,

Ive got it fixed, by translating the number (translation pattern) directly to a fixed number .

The phone rings, but im facing a new problem.

I can hear the caller but the caller does not hear me.

so im having " one way audio"

are there things that i can check to have a proper call?

Hi, in which direction is the audio? From CUCM to provider or from provider to CUCM?

Can you add a new debug ccsip messages from CUBE?

Regards.

Hi Daniele,

I can hear the caller but he can not hear me, i'm dialing with a mobile to the test number.

please find below the output of the test call with one way audio

This issue is also fixed.

Ive asked the firewall engineer to disable sip inspection.

And it seemed that RTP traffic was blocked:

16384 - 32767 / UDP
Real-Time Protocol (RTP), Secure Real-Time Protocol (SRTP)

continuing with testing outgoing test calls
