SIP Configuration commands

Hello everyone.

I need a help in configuring analog ports (FXS,FXO) for sip. we have cucm that has a sip trunk to 2801 which has fxs port connected to fax machine and fxo port connected to the pstn. These ports now are configured using mgcp under the control of other cucm in old cluster.

What i need to configure for these anaolg ports to work for sip ?

Also note that the 2801 gw is running as CUBE to ITSP,which is working fine with the new cucm cluster.

Please refer to any cisco document that cover this configuration.

Ahmed,

You dont need to use SIP for the fxs port. You can just use SCCP to register them to CUCM

Use the doc below as a guide..

What you  need to register fxs to cucm is the MAC address..which will be the mac address of the interface you are using for SCCP but you will remove the first 2 leading zeros. So if the MAC address of the interface is

00DA2FE2B000

THE MAC YOU WILL USE IN CUCM IS DA2FE2B000
