Hi Experts.

I show you our required elements :

  • Router 4321 series
  • Cisco IOS Software, ISR Software (X86_64_LINUX_IOSD-UNIVERSALK9-M), Version 15.5(3)S4b,
  • 40 IP Phones 7821 Model.
  • Firmware :
    • kern2.78xx.11-0-1-11.sbn
    • kern78xx.11-0-1-11.sbn
    • rootfs2.78xx.11-0-1-11.sbn
    • rootfs78xx.11-0-1-11.sbn
    • sboot2.78xx.11-0-1-11.sbn
    • sboot78xx.11-0-1-11.sbn
    • sip78xx.11-0-1-11.loads
  • the IP of TFTP Server 10.10.30.254 (subinterface of Data VLAN 30)
  • the VLAN created on another Firewall (30: Data VLAN and 50: Voice VLAN)
  • the configuration of CME exist as a join (config_CME.txt)

my Issue is that when I plug my IP Phone, it takes its IP address, Gateway, DNS, and TFTP Server. But it still shows me these two messages once "Phone not registred" and other times "Registring ...".
I run the following commands "debug tftp events", "debug tftp packets" and "debug ccsip message", I get the bugs found in join (debug_TFTP.txt)
The IP Phone is showing me these messages two days ago.
Thank you to find me what is missing in the configuration

Youssef.

It is considered that the DHCP is external and it include the correct TFTP address in option 150.

The phone interface have the voice VLAN configured.

Do basic thing as ---

no tftp-path flash

no create profile

tftp-path flash:

create profile

Please provide the output of command:

show voice register tftp-bind

Hi Youssef,

Can you provide the output of "more flash:/its/SEP70D37946540C.cnf.xml".

Also in the attached debug file, could see only debug tftp events and no sip messages as such.

can you check whether there is actual SIP communication happening between phone and CME and whether debug ccsip messages are on.

Try deleting CTL fIle from the phone and reset the phone.

the configuration of the phone seems good.

Hi @aelankoud

Now I have had the same situation as our new IP Phones 7821 don't register on CME 12.3 on ISR4321-V (IOS 16.9.6) or CME 12.6 (IOS 16.12.4). When I run debug commands only messages of "debug tftp events" shows on (no message of debug ccisp or debug voice register...). Could you please share how you fixed your issues and if possible could gou please share your full router config (without private information as name, IP, ...)
