How often does a Cisco SIP Phone send a keep-alive to CUCM? How many re-tries before phone tries to register to second subscriber?

The keep-alive interval is specified using the "SIP Station Keepalive Interval" (default of 120 seconds). If the phone is using SIP over TCP and it lost connection to the primary cucm, it will register to the secondary cucm immediately (no retries to the primary cucm).

The phone should not reach out to TFTP during failover immediately. It will just try to register to 2nd/3rd CUCM then SRST as listed in the cached config file. If all those fail, it may reach out to TFTP for a new config at that point.
