SIP Phones BLF for a whole device instead of one line

Good afternoon everyone,

In the middle of a CUCM upgrade and adding 88xx phones.  This is on CUCM 12.5 now.  We have SCCP phones that have an expansion module that have BLF to a number of remote phones.   When a user is off-hook on one of those phones the SCCP expansion module shows the phone as busy whether they are on the line 1 (personal line) or line 2 (shared incoming line).

With the 88xx phones and a KEM, when the user is on the shared line 2, the SIP phone does not show the phone as busy since the line 1 (personal line) is not in use.    I can not find anything on this.  It works fine if they are on line 1.

Does anyone have any suggestions on how to monitor the phone phone with BLF on a SIP device like the SCCP ones did?  The main issue is that I can not monitor the second line per device since it is a shared line extension and would not show the individual phones.

Thank you

Hi

If your requirement is to silent monitor shared lines configured in multiple Cisco IP Phones then it can be achieved using a 3rd Party application "MARS Silent Monitoring" for Cisco CUCM

On the phone with KEM does the Subscribe CSS have access to the partition of the shared DN?

How is the BLF defined, is the number entered under "Destination" or selected from "Directory Number" drop down?
