SIP Phones - SRST mode, particular dial peer pots

Is there a way to create a particular dial peer for SIP phones that register under SRST mode, so as it has a different treatment that when the phones are Registered in CUCM. This is because in CUCM they are using 9 for PSTN access and it is discarding predot at CUCM and would like to discard 9 also when in SRST mode.

Thanks!

Hey Martin

Yes you can do that. One of the reasons why you need to build your dial-plan with SRST in mind is this particular scenario. Essentially you need to build your SRST dial-peers and your CUCM dial plan with how people will dial in SRST. This was you avoid running into issues like this..

Here is what you need to do to address this.

voice translation-rule 8
rule 1 /^9/ //

voice translation-profile strip9
translate called 8

voice register pool 1
translation-profile incoming strip9

Please apply the translation profile to the

call-manager-fallback
 translation-profile incoming strip9
