Is there a way to create a particular dial peer for SIP phones that register under SRST mode, so as it has a different treatment that when the phones are Registered in CUCM. This is because in CUCM they are using 9 for PSTN access and it is discarding predot at CUCM and would like to discard 9 also when in SRST mode.

Hey Martin
Yes you can do that. One of the reasons why you need to build your dial-plan with SRST in mind is this particular scenario. Essentially you need to build your SRST dial-peers and your CUCM dial plan with how people will dial in SRST. This was you avoid running into issues like this..
Here is what you need to do to address this.
voice translation-rule 8
rule 1 /^9/ //
voice translation-profile strip9
translate called 8
voice register pool 1
translation-profile incoming strip9

This call didnt originate from a sip phone. It originated from a SCCP Phone
Incoming Dial-peer=20002
Please apply the translation profile to the
call-manager-fallback
translation-profile incoming strip9
if it still soesnt work please provide the following
debug voice translation
debug voip ccapi inout
