Sip tech-prefix

Hello,

CUCM 7.1 need to send a tech-prefix to the providers SIP trunk example 12345-tech-prefix-1-Country code-12345678 called number.

I know the tech-prefix is widely used in H323, not sure how's applied in SIP..

I did add a tech-prefix statement on the out bound Dial-peer , however it did nothing it sends the number. Without the tech-prefix.

I did modify the translation rule added the tech-prefix in the front of of the translation, but it did send only the tech-prefix without the called number.

Anyone can clarify this for me ?

Tech-prefix is H323 concept and not applicable to SIP, I would ask you provider whet they need it. If all you need to do is simply add some digits you can certainly use translation rules for that.
