SIP Transformatiion/configuration to match DID's

Good day everyone,

I have an implementation of SIP trunks, but I have a question and doubt about the correct configuration that may be set up.

The scenario is:  SIP Provider --> CUBE --> CUCM --> DID End users.

Basically my question is that if a SIP trunk is configured to receive the line from the SIP provider. This calls comes with a formar 123456@domain.com Correct? so, how does the CUBE transforms that into a DID format? I mean, we have DIDs  3XXXX and 7XXXX.

In configurations I hace seen the commands to Bind SIP in teh Dial Peers, but I don't know hao this exactly works and if that is what I need to hace the new SIP Lines working with the DID's??

Can anyone please help me explaining how this works and what do I need to configure specifically for the SIP trunks to communicate with my DIDs?

Thanks in advance for your help.

Whatever ANI you will be receiving in header is parsed in two ways.IT will have number/name left side and the sip domain on the right side and you can try to match based on LHS or RHS.

below doc refers to how you can match based on URI being received using voice class.

Also as far as binding goes , you can map internal LAN interface to the trafffic going to CUCM and external interface for traffic pointing to carrier. You can apply this on the dial-peer level.A very good document is below how to use bindings on cube .thanks
