SIP Trunk & MTP, MOH or outgoing calls.

I have a "chatch 22".

Scenario:

CUCM 12.0 and UCCX 11.6

Incoming calls don't hear MOH, for the UCCX queue time, unless I enable "Media Termination Point Required".

When I enable the use of MTP, all outgoing calls fail with busy.

The PSTN are trough a Interoute SIP trunk, terminated on a Cisco CUBE-SP ASR1004.

Just floating this to hear if anyone have encountered a ,similar problem.

MOH works fine, when I put an external on hold from a IP-phone(8851).

Hi there

Could you please share the debugs from the gateway. Also try the following


1. Disable Early Offer support for voice and video calls under SIP Profile
2. Reset the SIP Trunk


if that doesn't work

1. Change to Mandatory (Insert MTP if required)
2. Reset the SIP Trunk

Setting was "disabled"

Change to "mandatory" doesn't change the behavoir.

Calls work, but no MOH when calls are queued on the UCCX.

Hi there
For the MOH on queued calls can you check Call Control Group >> Network and User Audio source. Is that configured with a music on hold file or None?
Could you try adding the audio source on the Call Control Group and Update.
Also check the CTI ports as well and reset it.

You have the MOH selected in the Call Control on UCCX? That should have resolved the previous issue that you posted on.

Yes, the MOH source is selected for both User and Network hold in the call control groups in UCCX. Still, no music is heard.
