Hi,
I'm hoping someone can help me with the following solution.
I have 2 PBX's for redundancy and 2 SIP trunks. If the SIP Provider fails on the primary SIP and will automatically send the incoming calls down the 2nd trunk. but the issue i have is that the PBX will not now to route to the 2nd SIP trunk.
I was hoping that i could have 2 routers each with one SIP trunk connected to each and have say HSRP where the PBX will use as default gateway. So if the SIP trunk goes down locally or in the SIP Provider network the HSRP will change active router to the SIP trunk that i operating.
I had a look at Cisco Unified Border Element High Availability Using HSRP Configuration Example but wasn't sure.
thanks
