Hi All,
We are trying to send a few calls over to a Samsung PBX. We are currently pointing CUCM directly to the IP of the samsung PBX and calls are working... the only issue is that when a cisco phon places the call to a samsung extension, they see an ip address (not the PBX IP.. something different). The samsung PBX does not see any caller ID when the phone is ringing.
However, when a samsung phone calls a cisco phone... everything works as expected.

Have you worked with connecting the cucm with the samsung we are having troubles getting the 2 to talk

Hi,
No, never connect SIP trunk between CUCM and Samgung, but if as long as Samsung implementation matches with RFC 3261, there should not be any issue. Can you share the SIP traces to debug it further?
