1. What is Standard Local Route Group useful? When and why is it used?
2. What is SRST. What are the things to keep in mind while creating it. Please share any documents on SRST.

SLRG and SRST both are differnent.
SLRG used for call routing purpose. It is bassically used to reduce the number of route list. There is an option to select Route list on Device Pool.

We use SRST feature in case of WAN failure from CUCM to Phones.
With SRST feature , phone can be registered on Local Voice gateway to use limited voice functionality.
