SMALL GATEWAY WITH BRIS

Hello,

I'm looking for a small gateway with 1,2 or 4 BRI voice interfaces. Cisco 2901 is really big for this neccesity. Could you help me find anything smaller?

Cisco doesn't make these with the expection of C887VA-V-K9 and similar. however these are full-featured routers not gateways.

Hi,

We use the 1861 ISRs both with the BRI and FXO options for SRST purposes at remote sites, and they are used as the local gateway for emergency calls, when registered with UCM.

They are reasonably cheap and flexible, plus they have the bonus of the 4x FXS and 8x PoE Ports as well. Perfect for small outlying sites.

We use Innovaphone IP305 (2 BRI) and IP800 (4 BRI) media gateway. These devices support SIP and H.323 and are compliant with Cisco. You can find more info on the vendor web site.
