Hello Everyone,
I'm currently about to close a project with a client about a telephony platform (version 8.5) and the only thing stopping us from closing it is the SNMP test for the alarms.
Now the client is asking to do some tests simmulate "errors" so that they can verify that the SNMP is able to give them the respective alarm.
One of my doubts is if I manually stop a service, will the CUCM send me a "service stop" alarm??, I need this info so i can tell the client if its possible to do those kinds of tests in their platform.
And can the same be applied to a UCCE platform??
I've tried to look up for this and was not able to get an answer please any help would be really appreciated.
Thanks in advance for your kind help
Regards,
Edson

Hi Chris,
Yes I've checked it out, but unfortunately it doesnt answer my doubt, will manually stopping one service generate an alarm thats send via SNMP?
