SNMP traps

Dear all,

I am using CCM 6.1. and In my network we are using third party NMS( Tivoli).

I want to send the traps for IP Phones to that NMS.

For that what I should configure in my CCM.

Ip attaching, what I have done for SNMP configuration in my CCM.

any body is there to help me out.

You have to enable clogNotificationsEnabled (1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.41.1.1.2) and then the traps will be sent to their destination as defined.

Hi Madhab,

For any dos prompt:

To enable trap (clogNotificationsEnabled) : snmpset -c public -v 2c 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.41.1.1.2.0 i 1

To change the trap severity (clogMaxSeverity) : snmpset -c public -v 2c 1.3.6.1.4.1.9.9.41.1.1.3.0 i 4

In above example last value 4 means set the severity to 4 (Error). In this example any syslog event with severity emergency(1),alert(2),critical(3),error(4) will generate the syslog trap.
