SNR Behaviour on Line Group Member

Hello,

I have the following setup.

1) x7815, part of a Hunt.

2) x7815 has SNR to my Mobile phone.

3) There is a Call Handler that plays a Greeting before calling the Hunt.

Test:

1) from my Mobile I call in, and the Greeting is played from Unity.

2) Notice x7815 goes OFF-Hook.

3) I hang up from my Mobile. x7815 is still Off-Hook and continues playing the Greeting.

If I do not setup a Greeting and call through, x7815 does not go Off-Hook. and just rings as normal.

If I disable SNR completely, and enable Greeting, x7815 behaves as per-normal. i.e. does not Off-Hook and will ring when called.

I also tried with enabling SNR but Disabling Move To Mobile and it's the same. If SNR is on and I call from the same Mobile it does the above.

Expected behaviour?

CUCM v11.5SU4

IP Phones are 8851 and 7821

Thanks

Felix

Hi there

I assume this as an expected behaviour under the following facts,

1) Mobile Connect (Single Number Reach) works based on the concept of shared lines.

2) The Remote Destination Profile (RDP) that you create is basically a shared line to your IP phone.

3) The RDP is the one responsible for the call to be extended out to the cell phone.

4) When you log off from the hunt group on your IP phone, your RDP is still logged on.

Hope this Helps

Cheers

Rath!
