SNR outside call rerouting issue

Dear All,

We've installed CUCM 11.0 and setup SNR. when we make a call from one internal DN to another the call rings on both the desired internal DN and remote destination (mobile phone) as expected. But when we make a call from outside (PSTN) the call rings only on the user desk phone not remote destination (mobile phone) and even after connected on the desk phone the user cannot send the call to the remote destination (mobile phone).

Kindly advice

Regards

Check your re-routing calling search space CSS setting - if it's not set, try setting to an externally allowed CSS. Run a debug in CUCM and on your gateway to see if there is a call setup and ensure the rerouted call is not being dropped at the gateway or if CUCM is having a CAC issue with forwarding the call

It could be that the telco is blocking your outgoing call due to the fact the caller id you are sending is the remote calling party which would not be associated your circuit. If so you need to make sure you also send the redirecting information on the call so that the carrier allows it.

Hi kennedy,

check for "Rerouting Calling Search Space"

Rerouting Calling Search Space

This setting determines which partitions are accessed when calls are sent to a user's remote destination phone. This applies to all Mobile Connect calls. When a call to a user's enterprise directory number is also sent via Mobile Connect to a user's remote destination, this CSS determines how the system reaches the remote destination phone. For this reason, the CSS should provide access to partitions with appropriate route patterns and gateways for reaching the PSTN or Global System for Mobile Communication (GSM) network.

I don't think its rerouting CSS because its working for when you call for internal DN.

Can we see the traces from CUCM? Also, what integration do you have between your gateway and CUCM? Is this problem when you call from any pstn number or specific one? What do you get when you hit mobiltiy key during active call with pstn?
