SocialMiner SNMP not working

Hi,

Just wanted to hear if anyone got SNMP running on Socialminer server version 10.6 ? (Before i create a TAC case)

I have tried with version 2 and version 3, with accept from any hosts etc.

I just get no response, no firewall or access lists between i have tried from Prime Collaboration and using a SNMP tester from my pc.

CUCM, UCCX servers with same config on same VLAN works fine

Did you find a solution or did you have answers from TAC?? We are experiencing same issue with SocialMiner 10.5 - same SNMP configuration as on the CUCM,IVR,Finesse but its not working :-(.

Hi Tomas,

No unfortunately not. I did not create a TAC case for this, other projects came first.

I found that on the SOCM server is some issue with SNMP service - its not possible to restart SNMP service from CLI for some reason so I think that its also not possible through GUI when SNMP configuratios has been done. You have to restart whole server as soon as you finnish SNMP configuration :-)
