I created Join soft key for Cisco 7942/62 phones but it is not working!!! Agents are unable to join calls. Do I need to turn Built in bridge to ON for this feature to work? Is there anything else require as far as phone configuration goes? Thanks

Can you please explain more about your existing setup(call control platform) and the conference bridge details.
On the phone Turn the privacy off and you should be able to join the call.

there was another setting on device level 'join cross line something' was turned off. All working now....Thanks for your comments
