Soft Phones with Base numbers

Hi

We have a number of users who will be working externally and from home using corporate laptops. Is there a way of adding base numbers to soft phone software and pre-installing this on laptops. The base phone number on the soft phone never changes.

If a user picks up a laptop and takes it home to work -

Is he/she able to log in using her own extension number?

Is there any more in licence fees?

Is there a easier way of adding this into CM such as a script to complete all 3000 base numbers and laptops in one go.

We are currently using Call Manager 6.1

You can configure CIPCs for that.

They will consume DLUs.

You can either configure a fixed number or configure EM.

Use BAT for the CUCM config of the CIPCs.
