Speaker button dials a number

I have several Cisco 7945 ip phones with this issue...

When the speaker button is pressed, and not in a call, the phone dials a number. Not always the last number called but usually one of the numbers in the call history.

Hi David,

I believe it's this bug which affects 7942/64, 7945/65 & 7975 sets you'll need a

firmware with the "fixed-in" version. I would contact TAC

Thanks Rob,

I have reset the phone, unplugged it, and the condition returns.

I have forced a re-download of the firmware, and the condition returns.

I should probably mention, when I lift the receiver to answer a call, the phone does not go off hook, I have to press "answer". I dont think this is related, and as far as I know it is only my phone that is dioing this.

David

Rob,

Sorry I missed the first couple lines of your reply... time to open a case.

Thanks,

David
