Hi Experts,

Our 7965 phone template has 1 line and 5 speed dials. I would like to assign our internal emergnecy number to the 5th SD but after batting the phones in, no matter what I do the emergecy number moves to the first SD.  It works when I manually edit the phones and move the emergency number to 5th place. It's obvious that I don't want to edit 700 phones and update the changes manually. I tried to export phones with All Details, move the emergency SD to the 5th position and insert the phone back to th CM with but no luck. I also tried to use update phone with custom file. I can see the file is available but when I click on find, a message stating "

No active query. Please enter your search criteria using the options above.

displays. Could you please let me know if there's a way of making this happen?

Hi MK,

Can you please tell me what is the version of CUCM ?

This can be done though BAT but there are certain limitations to speed dial so this is necessary to know the CUCM Version.

BAT skips blank columns in between for some field
Symptom:
BAT skips blank columns in between for some field such like line, speed dials at importing.
And also BAT pushes over blank columns at exporting.

Conditions:
This issue did not happen on the BAT with windows based CUCM. (CCM3.X, 4.X)

Workaround:
In case for speed dial, add dummy Speed Dial number instead of blank rows.

Further Problem Description:
For example "Speed dial" field
When speed dial has blank rows as below.
1. Boss
blank row
3. cust B
Only 1st line will be imported.
And if we try to export this, output CSV contains 1.Boss 2.cust B rather than 1.Boss , blank, 3.cust B.
