Speed dials on cisco 9971 ip phones

Hi All ,

i have configured cisco 9971 video ip phones on CUCM 8.

i have cofigured 7 speedials but i can see on 5 speed dials on ip phone .

i can that on callmanager 2 speed dials are located under "Add on Momodule " option.

kindly advise what changes can bring all 7 speed dials on ip phone's display .

The 9971 has up to 6 buttons natively.  You can add an expansion module to increase that total.

however you can use the unassigned speed dials as "abbreviated dials" if that works for you. You can search end user documentation on abbreviated dialing (speed dialing).

HI,

I am also facing the same issue. I configured 7 buttons for BLF speed dial but i can see 5 on 9971 and 4 on 9951. There are 10 buttons physically available on the phone but in CME 8.8 i can see maximum of 7.

Anyone knows whats the  issue.

This is not an issue as the buttons on the left are session buttons and cannot be programmed. So it works as designed.
